Burnie’s Jason White has continued his dominance of Targa Tasmania by further extending his lead on day three of the classic tarmac rally.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Strada driver increased his lead to one minute on a day when key rivals Steve Glenney and Matt Close crashed out of the event.

The XXXX GOLD Retreat @ the National Sprintcar Championships

The XXXX GOLD Retreat recently travelled to Darwin for the National Sprintcar Championships, held from May 27-30 at Northline Speedway.

Despite the unpredictable weather, the retreat received a warm welcome with healthy crowds of over 14 000 enjoyed three nights of action packed racing.

Webber wins Grand Prix number 3 in Barcelona.

Australian F1 star and Octagon client Mark Webber led from start to finish to take out the Spanish F1 Grand Prix in Barcelona overnight. Having started on pole, Mark also had the fastest lap time and completed the trifecta with a comfortable 24 second victory.

White wins second Targa Tasmania title

After six gruelling days of competition, local driver Jason White has triumphed in the modern section to add a second Targa Tasmania title to his collection.

Driving his Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Strada, White and his co-driving uncle, John White, led from start to finish to claim a 63 second win ahead of Queenslander Ray Vandersee in a Skelta G-Force, and Tony Quinn in a Nissan GT-R.
