Octagon's very own Naomi Tillett wins the 2011 Targa Tasmania

It was another successful event for Octagon with the completion of the 20th Anniversary of Targa Tasmania. There was a quality field of 370 cars, (a record for this world recognised event) and a record 85 litres of Champagne showered at the finish! Naomi Tillet, Event Manager at Octagon's Adelaide office, took the win with driver Tony Quinn whereby Tillett says she felt every drop!

“To have one Targa plate is a life’s dream, but to have two Targa plates means I know our team is a winning formula" Tillett said.

“To win the 20th Anniversary event among some spectacular talent is a story that can’t be written”. Tony Quinn said (Naomi’s driver in a Nissan R35 GTR).

Tillett heads Octagon’s new Adelaide office, where Octagon’s motorsport team is preparing for the first ever ‘Classic Targa Adelaide’ from 14-17 September this year.

“To be involved with a professional team makes my job enjoyable, and to be able to combine my passion of motorsport with my work, is another dream come true” Tillett said.
