The Longford Revival Festival was a huge success with thousands of people from within the state and beyond attending the three day event in Tasmania from 1-3 April.
There were up to 100 cars and bikes in fast motion on the flying mile including a range of Porsche cars that travelled all the way from the Porsche Museum in Germany.
Shannons also hosted up to 150 vehicles on static display in the Shannons Show and Shine beside the Shannons Super Rig which was in attendance in the state for the first time.
Tasmania’s fine wine and food was enjoyed by the many festival goers as were the sounds of the sixties, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
Octagon were committed to delivering a quality event in Tasmania unlike any other within the state and through months of hard work and help from everyone involved we feel that we achieved this. We would like to acknowledge and thank the many people that helped us get the inaugural Longford Revival Festival off the ground, without your support and hard work it would not have been possible.
We have already commenced preparations for next year and look forward to another exciting event. The 2012 Longford Revival Festival will run from 30 March – 1 April next year.
