Mark Webber leads Red Bulls home - First Place Monaco GP

Following Mark Webber’s victory at the Spanish GP a week earlier, Mark and Red Bull team mate Sebastian Vettel now share the Drivers Championship lead after Webber won F1’s most prestigious race, the Monaco GP.

Mark won for the second time in eight days giving the Red Bull duo a third won-two finish from 6 races. He won from lights to flag, just as he had done in Barcelona a week earlier, as he became the first Australian to win in Monaco since Jack Brabham in 1959.

Despite being unchallenged throughout the 74 lap race, Mark successively avoided high speed crashes that included Nico Hulkenberg (Williams) slamming into the tunnel barrier at 270km/h on the first lap. Mark now heads to Istanbul in two weeks for the Turkish Grand Prix..
